On November 3, 2020, the Recycling Alliance press conference was held, bringing together four major material sectors: steel and non-ferrous metals, aluminum, paper-cardboard and glass.

The circular economy and recycling are based on a chain of actors whose activities are dependent on each other and all essential. The Recycling Alliance industrial recyclers produce high-quality, high-performance, innovative materials that respect the environment and contribute to the development of local industrial activity. They optimize the use of natural resources and recycle materials that find their place alongside virgin raw materials. They regularly increase recycling rates, and thus help reduce the amount of waste going to landfill in France.

The materials produced by our companies are used in many industries and in many applications. Historical and committed players in the recycling chain and in the operation of extended producer responsibility, the recycling industrialists of the Recycling Alliance wish to take part in the necessary active dialogue between all parties.
stakeholders and fully play their role. The members of the Recycling Alliance have thus contributed to the work of the Law on the fight against waste and the circular economy (AGEC), published on February 10, 2020 and whose scope is considerable in terms of the number of sectors and of topics it covers.
