National ecosystem

Aluminum France is a direct member of MEDEF , UIMM , France industrie and CEDAP . It maintains permanent links with a large number of other professional organizations depending on the subjects to be dealt with. It maintains privileged links with certain specialized organizations. Among those :

• SNFA , a professional organization representing designers, manufacturers and installers of exterior joinery in aluminum profiles, is in charge of aluminum building applications. With the SNFA, the GFA carries out various actions on the environmental footprint of aluminum;
• France Aluminum Recyclage (FAR), in partnership with CITEO , guarantees the return of used aluminum packaging collected by local authorities;
• The Institute for the History of Aluminum (IHA) maintains the memory of aluminum and its heritage.

Aluminum France is a member of the Recycling Alliance for the promotion of the recycling industry with other federation of materials (steel, glass, paper).

Aluminum France participates in the work of UNIDEN in conjunction with its energy-intensive members. It promotes access to competitive and carbon-free energy over the long term at the national level, particularly for hyper-electro-intensive sites.

Aluminum France also exchanges with the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Recovery , the Ministry of Ecological Transition as well as with Ademe .

Aluminum France maintains permanent relations with the national aluminum associations of other European countries.
